Cio da Terra é uma declaração à multiplicidade fértil da vida na Terra.
A proposta pretende tornar visível os processos de restauração do solo como um sistema vivo em sua multiplicidade. Propõe-se o pavilhão e sua exposição como um espaço-germinal onde práticas de manejo florestal originárias da cultura ancestral brasileira tem o potencial de transformar o terreno existente em direção a um futuro mais humano e justo. Toma-se o território da expo, construído a partir de aterro sobre o mar, como símbolo de um solo degradado e infértil que será regenerado ao longo dos 6 meses de exposição com vegetação e técnicas brasileiras expondo criticamente a busca por uma conexão com a terra frente às urgências contemporâneas.

The Earth in Heat is a statement to the fertility of life on earth.
The proposal shows the processes of soil management and restoration as a living system. It is proposed that the exhibition area work as a germinal space where forest management practices originating from the ancestral Brazilian culture have potential to transform the terrain towards a more humane future. The territory of the Expo, built from landfill over the sea, is taken as a symbol of an infertile soil that will be regenerated over the 6 months of the exhibition with Brazilian vegetation and techniques without critically expose the search for a local connection with the earth in face of contemporary urgencies.
